ADV-8916 Multichannel, Multi-input DVB-C Modulator

The ADV-8916 is a 16-channel DVB-C QAM modulator designed for use in a professional broadcast environment. The device has 16 independent RF output channels, each fully compliant with the DVB-C (J.83A, J.83B, J.83C) broadcast standard. While it is not uncommon to have a multichannel modulator, the device includes several features that make it unique among its competition.
Due to its flexible design architecture, the ADV-8916 can also support a wide array of input boards, including RF and IP input tuner boards. These enable the ADV-8916 accept as input a variety of input sources and output a DVB-C RF signal. Essentially adding Re-Modulator functionality to the device.
The ADV-8916 supports the following RF input standards: DVB-C, DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2/S2X, ATSC, ISDB-T. It can also accept ASI and up to 512 MPTS IP input connections.
Currently the ADV-8916 is offered at a low MSRP of $4,500 USD.
